Worky Raises $6M Series A
We're thrilled to announce our Acadian Ventures portfolio company, Worky, has raised a $6M Series A led by Atlantico with participation from ADP Ventures.
Worky was the 21st investment in our first fund. We wrote about our regional HR+payroll thesis last year, highlighting Worky as a model for our global investment strategy. When we first invested in Worky's Seed round in 2022, founders Maya Dadoo and Carlos Marina had an ambitious vision to modernize how companies recruit, manage and pay their employees across Latin America with a particular focus on Mexico.
In 2022, Worky released Worky Payroll, Mexico’s first cloud-native payroll solution along with robust shift management capabilities. These new solutions helped drive accelerated growth and user adoption in 2023, bringing new levels of operational efficiency to their customers.
We are particularly excited to welcome ADP Ventures as a strategic investor and leverage their knowledge and expertise as the comprehensive global leader in cloud-based human capital management.
